The Buzz
I like to stay up on what's happening in this great area I sell lifestyles in, so Kaitlin, Julio, and I stopped by Long Bay Brewery last week to talk to the owners. I wanted to see what's been causing a Ruckus near the top of Marr Road, the town buzzing, and the tap room full so many afternoons and evenings as of late. It wasn't long into our conversation that I realized these guys are truly passionate about what they do, what they have, and making it a great experience for their customers. It wasn't just the beer that was refreshing at Long Bay, it was the attitudes of the owners. Their tap room is unique and has a high end feel to it with the stainless chairs, polished concrete bar-tops, and stainless tanks visible from the tap room. The OSB was their own inspiration to be different much like their beers are. It's a cool, unique, and comfortable atmosphere in their tap room for sure.
Inspired by Unique Taste
We talked to them about their merchandise, their vision for the future, and their unique brews and what inspired each one. I could physically see their drive when telling us what they've been doing, what they have planned next, and how many hours they've been putting in lately to make things happen. They are truly passionate about the brews they have from their top selling drinks such as the Bantam, Ruckus, and their sours, to their newer test brews they bring out on a regular such as the Pineapple Grenade they have at the moment. When one of their one off beer sells out of a 100 litre batch over a weekend, they know they've got a good one.
A Quality Future
We found the pricing of the merchandise and drinks very affordable and the quality top notch. It's no wonder their drinks are getting picked up by more and more restaurants which I'm sure you'll notice in the months to come. Stop in for a drink and grab a few on the way out as most do. They are open at 12 on weekdays and a bit earlier on Saturdays. My prediction is their quality products combined with their energy and fun future plans will have us seeing plenty of great things from Long Bay Brewery for a long time to come.
