Neighborhoods

Quispamsis / Rothesay

An abundance of well constructed homes, waterfront living, parks and playgrounds, wharfs, local small businesses, and great weather give the residents who live here a great quality of life. Families are attracted to this style of life for obvious reasons and in my opinion the great people who live here are as happy as they come! After all, why wouldn't they be!

North and Millidgeville

Heritage homes with an abundance of character aren't limited to the uptown core. They're in parts of the North end as well, offering one of a kind show pieces as a choice of home for those who own them and choose to put the effort into preserving them. In this convenient area, you'll also find the city's largest park. Rockwood park has endless trail systems, many small fresh water beaches and lakes for the kids to swim in, and of course the Pavilion where there always seems to be an event happening. North is also where you'll find some of the nicest and largest homes within the city, specifically in the "Millidgeville" area. Safe neighbourhoods and nice weather are just two of the many things that the residents love here. It's only the extremely foggy days that has Millidgeville fogged in too.

East Saint John

Walking trails, malls, restaurants, and businesses, east side living is convenient to say the least. Maybe that's why there is such an abundance of homes here. Many neighbourhoods found east have a great walk score and if you or someone you know needs a drive to the airport, guess which side of the city the airport is located on... that's right!

West Saint John

Don't you cross that bridge unless you have a good reason to! "West-siders" are proud of being west-siders, and when it's time for them to make a move, looking across the bridge at other parts of the city is not a common option that they take. Their friends, family, and all of the necessities in life are found west and living in the city with a small town feel is right up their alley. There is a lot of beauty to be found on this side of the city as it's large in scale and stretches itself along the riverbank with a great mix of waterfront ranging from rocky shoreline to sandy beaches. Dock your boat in front of your home if you're lucky enough to have a piece of waterfront, or at the beautiful Marina, a great access point to be able to boat for miles no matter the size of your boat. Oceanfront is found here as well which surrounds the beautiful Irving Nature Park where you'll find spectacular views and friendly people as you walk your dog or go on your weekly run.

Uptown Saint John

If I had to name one word that comes to mind when someone mentions uptown, it would have to be "Architecture". When the cruise ships come to town many of their passengers are amazed at the amazing architecture that so many uptown buildings possess. Whether it be a night out on the town with friends, or a date night with your special someone, there is no better choice than to head uptown.

Grand Bay-Westfield

This popular tight knit town comes by its name honestly as spectacular waterviews can be seen from homes that are perched on much of the riverbank the runs along the bottom of the Saint John River. Easy highway access is enjoyed throughout the town, and a drive along the beautiful Kingston Peninsula is just a short ferry ride away as well. Small enough to keep its small town feel yet large enough to have all of the main amenities, the residents here will tell you it's the perfect size and atmosphere for a quiet yet convenient lifestyle.
